Since 2015, Nexttech has proven experience in providing a wide range of staff augmentation and offshore services, from initial project estimation to various IT development tasks. We also provide a wide range of onshore services for customers with onsite consulting needs. Our clients are from Central and East European markets and our focus is on state of the art development projects from the banking, trading and power sectors.
We are looking for a Scrum Master whose main responsibility is to ensure that development teams follow Scrum framework values and agile practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the Agile methodology and scrum practices for our team.
- Drive the Scrum processes and ceremonies: coordinate daily standups, refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach team in Agile and Scrum methodology.
- Work closely with the product owner and development team to prioritize and manage work through the sprints.
- Proactively support the development team in solving impediments, blockers.
- Work with product owner and other stakeholders to report project status and provide feedback to the team.
- Manage project via Jira and reports consistently on team velocity while resolving any impediments.
- Assist in release planning and overall product roadmap definition.
What will drive your success?
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role.
- Experience and in-depth understanding of Agile methodology and frameworks.
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as backlog refinement, definition of done, user stories etc.).
- Familiarity with software development and project lifecycle.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Servant leadership skills.
- Ability to identify and solve problems by adopting existing procedures, techniques and methods.
- Exposure to the FinTech industry is a plus.
- Fluency in German is a plus.
- Degree in Computer Science, Business or similar field is an advantage, but not mandatory
