Job Description

We are looking for a Solution Architect with a strong engineering mindset to help shape and drive the architecture of a next-generation test automation and test management ecosystem used in complex engineering and hardware-integrated environments.

This is not a pure governance or documentation role. We are searching for a hands-on technical architect who enjoys solving real engineering problems, designing scalable systems, and contributing directly to the evolution of the platform and its technical direction.

The ideal candidate understands how to balance flexibility, scalability, maintainability, and operational realities in dynamic environments where hardware, automation, distributed execution, and evolving requirements intersect.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape and evolve the overall architecture of the test automation and test management platform.
• Design flexible and scalable backend systems capable of supporting dynamic execution environments and distributed agent-based architectures.
• Define architectural approaches for self-provisioning agents running on hardware and heterogeneous environments.
• Ensure the solution covers both current and future requirements while remaining maintainable, extensible, and operationally efficient.
• Contribute directly to technical implementation, prototyping, and engineering decisions together with development teams.
• Design APIs, orchestration concepts, execution models, integration patterns, and platform communication mechanisms.
• Drive architectural consistency across backend services, execution layers, data flows, and integrations.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, engineers, QA specialists, and hardware-related teams to understand operational challenges and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Identify technical risks, bottlenecks, and scalability limitations early and propose pragmatic solutions.
• Mentor engineers and support technical growth within the team.
• Contribute to establishing engineering best practices, quality standards, and long-term platform vision.

What Will Drive Your Success?

• At least 7+ years of experience in software engineering, system architecture, or distributed platform development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and modern backend architectures.
• Experience designing scalable distributed systems, microservices, or event-driven architectures.
• Deep understanding of APIs, orchestration patterns, infrastructure concepts, and system integration.
• Experience with containerized and cloud-native environments (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
• Strong engineering mindset with the ability to move between high-level architecture and low-level technical implementation.
• Experience with automation platforms, industrial systems, hardware-related environments, embedded systems, or distributed execution frameworks is a strong plus.
• Understanding of agent-based architectures, execution orchestration, provisioning concepts, or workflow engines is highly valuable.
• Frontend understanding (React or Vue.js) is considered a plus.
• Ability to navigate evolving requirements and dynamic environments without overengineering solutions.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
